PSYCHOLOGICAL

Often psychological issues confound learning difficulties. Problems with anxiety, self esteem, and depression can result from learning and attention concerns and become significant problems of their own, or emotional issues may give rise to academic problems.

Psychological testing at The Learning Lab can help identify and rule out these emotional factors. Parent interviews, interviews with the child or adolescent, review of history, specific testing instruments, and clinical impressions are all part of the evaluation process.
